Faith-Based Health Claims Exclusion Screening

Exclusion Evalyn™ is a purpose-built, Windows-based analytics application designed to identify, classify, and report on healthcare claims that fall within religious or values-based exclusion categories—specifically aligned with Roman Catholic benefit frameworks in the United States.

Exclusion Evalyn ingests carrier medical and pharmacy claims data (CSV/Excel), normalizes complex datasets, and executes a rules-driven query engine against a structured exclusion dictionary. The result: a fully categorized, audit-ready output identifying claims tied to sensitive or excluded services.

The platform automatically flags claims across key exclusion categories including:

  • Abortion

  • Contraceptives (procedures and medications)

  • Sterilization & reversals

  • Infertility treatments

  • Transgender-related services

  • Self-inflicted conditions

  • Family planning services

  • Abortifacient drugs

These categories are driven by a configurable exclusion dictionary supporting CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9, ICD-10, and medication ingredient logic.

Exclusion Evalyn is architected as a fully local, desktop-based application, ensuring that all protected health information (PHI) remains within your organization’s controlled environment.

  • No cloud transmission – Data is never sent to external servers or third-party services

  • Local processing only – All ingestion, normalization, and analysis occur on the user’s machine

  • Customer-controlled data security – You retain full ownership and responsibility for storage, access controls, and encryption within your infrastructure

  • No persistent external data storage – Outputs are generated directly to your local environment (e.g., Excel files in LOCALAPPDATA directories)

This design supports organizations in maintaining alignment with HIPAA privacy and security principles, while minimizing exposure risk and simplifying compliance workflows.

Note: Exclusion Evalyn is a locally installed software tool. Compliance with HIPAA ultimately depends on the user organization’s administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
